Close to Ninety Air Travels Connected to Epstein Allegedly Came to or from British Airfields

A review has identified that nearly 90 aircraft journeys linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly landed at and took off from UK airports, with some allegedly having onboard British women who assert they were abused by the convicted child sex offender.

Flight Logs Reveal Pattern of Movement

The flight logs were part of thousands of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been made public over the past year. The review identified 87 flights connected to Epstein – including many that were hitherto undisclosed – arriving or departing from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Flights

Unidentified “females” were documented among the passengers travelling into and out of the UK. Notably, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a minor.

“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his activities in the country,” said US lawyers representing hundreds of Epstein victims.

UK Survivors and Court Cases

Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that survivor has never been contacted by UK authorities, according to her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the Metropolitan police said they had “not received any additional evidence that would support restarting the inquiry.” They commented, “Should new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, including any arising from the disclosure of material in the US, we will evaluate it.”

Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings

Proposed legislation to release every document held by the US government in regarding Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of documents are expected to be released.

Separately, a federal judge decided last week that the DOJ could make public case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
